"Obituary. MR. HECTOR DALLAS, aged eighty-three years, a resident of Goulburn for the past fifty-three years, died at his son's residence, Goldsmith-street, at nine o'clock this morning from general break-up of the system. He had been confined to his bed for nearly twelve months, during which time he suffered greatly. He was a boot closer by trade, but had been unable to work for some considerable time. Mr. Dallas was born in Woolwich, England, and was married about sixty years ago, his wife having been dead twenty-one years. He leaves five sons and two daughters, the latter being Mrs. R.
