A resident of Canada for the last 28 years, James Lambert Cowan, 65, died Saturday at the family residence, 708 Dudley ave., following an illness. Rev J R Craig, of Grace United church, will conduct the funeral services Tuesday at 3 p.m. from the Gardiner funeral home to Elmwood cemetery.
Born in Selkirk, Scotland, Mr Cowan came to Canada in 1907. In Winnipeg he was for many years a shipper with the Leslie Furniture company. Mr Cowan was also a devoted member of Grace United church.
Surviving are his widow and one son James, at home."
