Predeceased by his sisters Mae Thomas and Verla Hastings, his brother Eugene Fischer in infancy, brother-in-laws Stuart McInnes and William Hastings, and by his sister-in-law Mary Fischer. Stanley was a life-long member, and long-time elder at Knox Presbyterian Church in Cranbrook, as well as a member of Knox Presbyterian Church in Listowel. He and Della farmed on Concession 11, Grey Township (Cranbrook) from the time of their marriage (June 12, 1940) until 1981, when they retired to Listowel. Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Monday, February 19th at 2:00 p.m. Reverend John Zondag officiating. Spring interment in Brussels Cemetery."
