A resident of Calgary for the last 40 years, and a descendant of a pioneer family of Scottish bankers, Sidney Herbert McCulloch, 64 years of age, died in a local hospital on Tuesday evening. He had resided at 810 Twelfth avenue west. Born in North Berwick, Scotland, Mr. McCulloch was the youngest son of the late David and Elizabeth Duncan McCulloch, of the British Linen Bank, in North Berwick. Coming to Canada with his parents, he resided at New Westminster, B.C., where his parents founded the Bank of British Columbia in the early '60's. He came to Calgary in 1896, and was a member of the Southern Alberta Pioneers' and Old Timers' Association. He was also a veteran of the South African War."
