"Donald B. Dankert, 78, of Harrison Township, died Friday, Jan. 21, 2005. He was born Oct. 5, 1926, in Hanover, Ontario, Canada.
Mr. Dankert served in the Royal Canadian Navy during World War II. He was a member of Moose Lodge, the Eagles and the Canadian Legion. Relatives said he enjoyed visits with his grandchildren and kept his home filled with pictures of his family. He and his friend, Howard, always hoped to become rich by playing the Lotto.2Gravestone.

Predeceased by her husband Ross Dankert (1984), Janet will be lovingly remembered by her children; Karen Holbrough (Jim) of Burlington and Doug Dankert of Bobcaygeon and Naples. Much loved mother-in-law to Joan Dankert. Dear grandmother to Cory (Keira) Holbrough, Jody (Yvette) Holbrough and Shannon Dankert and great grandmother to Brogan, Jack, James and Eva Rose. Fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Margaret of Toronto. Predeceased by her parents Norman Kribs Sr. and Rita (nee Gynn), and brother Norman Kribs. Janet worked as a medical secretary for many years, she will be sadly missed by all who knew her, including her special friend Gizzy. Cremation has taken place, interment of ashes will be in Hanover Cemetery."
