"Two sisters wed within one week.
Mrs Lloyd Ferris, 27 Ferris Avenue, Highland Park, lost two daughters last week - by marriage. Within the week of Miss Jeannette Ferris's marriage to Alexander Sorum, of Detroit, Miss Georgia became Mrs Romayne Dotson.
Dotson, who is a grain dealer in Ceylon, Minnesota, came on to the Sorum wedding, and, like the determined Westerner he is, resolved not to leave until he had carried out his twelvemonth wish to make Georgia his bride.
The knot was tied last night after which the Dotsons left for Ceylon from where they will proceed to the Pacific coast for a prolonged honeymoon."2Newspaper Obituary, News Tribune 8 Nov 1968.
